Working across production, technical, health and safety and management functions, you will gain the kind of broad operational exposure that builds a long-term career in food manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on technical and quality support to Production, tracking process performance and helping diagnose and correct quality issues.
- Support compliance with food safety, HACCP and quality requirements, ensuring products meet customer, regulatory and internal quality specifications.
- Conduct inspections, checks and investigations, and see follow-up actions through.
- Support H&S initiatives and promote safe working practices throughout production.
- Provide practical training and coaching to employees.
- Contribute to investigations of incidents, complaints, non-conformances and quality issues, establishing causes and preventive measures, and verify that corrective and preventative actions are completed and effective.
- Maintain accurate records covering technical, quality, compliance and training activity.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Professional background in food manufacturing, quality, technical or compliance
- Effective both within a team and working independently
- At ease engaging directly with production employees
- Practical and approachable in style
- Ready to get involved on the factory floor
- Strong expertise across food safety and quality
- Working knowledge of HACCP and manufacturing requirements
- Comfortable owning H&S responsibilities and risk management
- A confident trainer and clear communicator
- Capable of investigating problems, identifying the root cause and developing practical solutions
- Highly organised, with close attention to detail
- Confident managing documentation, reporting and audit requirements
