Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and browser storage associated with MigrateJobs at migratejobs.in (the Platform), operated by Red Migration FZC. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and browser storage defined
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on a device so that the browser can return it on later visits. Browser storage refers to comparable mechanisms built into modern browsers, chiefly sessionStorage (cleared when the tab closes), localStorage (retained until removed) and IndexedDB (a structured store, also retained until removed). This policy uses both terms together where the distinction does not matter.
Storage set by the site being visited is described as first-party; storage set by another service whose content appears on the page, such as an embedded video player, is described as third-party. Each type can be inspected and removed through the browser.
2. Storage used by the Platform
Public pages
The Platform sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It stores a single technical value in sessionStorage:
- chunk_reload_at: a timestamp used to reload the page once if a new version of the Platform was released while the page was open. It identifies no one and is deleted when the tab is closed.
Administration area
The administration area is used only by our staff. There, Firebase Authentication (Google) keeps the staff member's sign-in session in IndexedDB or localStorage, and stores in localStorage the email address entered for email-link sign-in so that the link can be completed. Members of the public do not encounter this storage.
3. Third-party services
- Google Fonts: typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which therefore receive the visitor's IP address and browser details.
- YouTube: video thumbnails are fetched from Google's image servers (i.ytimg.com). The video player loads from youtube-nocookie.com only once the visitor presses play; from that point YouTube may store data on the device in accordance with Google's policies.
- Share buttons and WhatsApp links: the WhatsApp, Facebook and LinkedIn share buttons on articles, and the links to our WhatsApp chat and job alerts channel, transmit nothing until clicked. After a click, the destination service applies its own cookies and terms.
- Other websites: linked sites such as buildaicv.com, talenttabloid.com and government portals operate their own cookie practices.
5. Managing cookies and storage
Browser settings allow cookies and site data to be viewed, blocked or deleted, and private or incognito windows discard them when closed. Blocking storage does not prevent the public Platform from working; the only effect is that the automatic reload after an update may not occur. Staff sign-in to the administration area requires browser storage to be enabled.
6. Policy updates
This policy will be revised if the Platform's use of cookies or storage changes, and the date at the top of the page will be updated accordingly.
7. Contact
Questions about this policy may be sent to jobs@migratejobs.in or raised through the contact page.
