Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake general carpentry, framing, fixing and broader construction duties across multiple sites, plus roofing installation, repair and maintenance.
  • Measure, cut, assemble and install timber, framing, roofing materials and building components with precision.
  • Complete exterior cladding, architraves and steel stud work.
  • Interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications and measurements, and act on instructions.
  • Apply safe, efficient methods and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Relevant residential or commercial construction experience.
  • A strong work history.
  • References supporting your experience and standard of work.
  • Ideally, experience spanning general carpentry, framing, fixing, roofing, exterior cladding, architraves and steel stud work, along with reading construction drawings, plans, specifications and measurements.
  • Site Safe and other relevant trade tickets and licences, as well as your own hand and power tools, are advantageous; each is an advantage on its own.
  • Holding a Drivers license and having your own vehicle is advantageous.
