For an engineering technician who wants broader responsibility, this full-time Auckland role combines hardware, software and customer-facing work. A growing technology company that supports the manufacturing, food and beverage, packaging and automation sectors is recruiting a Field Service Engineer Technician.
The position covers installing, servicing and supporting an installed base made up mainly of coding, marking, laser and labelling technologies. The systems are complex electro-mechanical units in which software carries real weight, so the scope runs from sole-charge installation and integration to repairs, training and help desk support. The territory spans New Zealand and Pacific Island territories, including Fiji, Samoa and Tahiti, with regular travel.
The employer is an Accredited Employer with Immigration New Zealand, the accreditation used to sponsor workers on the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV). This role is for applicants already in New Zealand who hold immigration credentials to live and work there.
