Key Responsibilities
- Produce menu dishes, monitoring their quality from preparation to final presentation
- Supervise cooks and support them during service as needed
- Train newly appointed or less experienced kitchen staff
- Delegate tasks across the team
- Uphold hygiene regulations in the kitchen
- Oversee food stock and raise orders
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience plus qualifications in commercial cookery, Cert 3 or higher
- Minimum 2 years' experience gained in a commercial kitchen
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team
- Understanding of the OH&S and food hygiene requirements that apply in a kitchen
- Valid work rights in Australia and flexible availability across weekdays and weekends to support a 7-day operation
