For a baker looking to build an independent career in Australia, this Melbourne role offers genuine responsibility: complete ownership of an established business’s overnight production.
The successful Baker will produce bread, pastries and donuts single-handed and present a full range on the shelves at opening. The roster is six nights a week, broadly 10 pm to 5 am, with Wednesdays off; precise hours are open to discussion and some adaptability is required. It is a full-time post with an immediate start and 4 weeks of annual leave.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a baker in a commercial bakery or hospitality setting

- Pastry knowledge, regarded as a big plus
- A reliable, punctual and consistent work ethic, given the team depends on the bake every morning, and availability over the Christmas period
