For operators who want the next step up in their career, moving into training and assessment turns years of plant experience into a role that shapes the industry. A civil and mining training provider near Perth is recruiting trainers and assessors with a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and a commitment to developing the next generation of operators.
The provider has two positions open, namely 1 Civil Trainer & Assessor, Monday to Friday on 8-12 hour shifts with alternating Saturdays available, and 1 Dozer / Excavator Trainer on production mining D11 and 3600 machines, weekdays on 8-12 hour shifts, working as a hybrid across 2 mine sites. Learners receive one-on-one practical training on a live mine about 60 minutes north of Perth CBD, which keeps the roles non-FIFO.
For candidates planning a longer-term career in Australia, visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
