For Registered Nurses who want a long-term career in aged care, permanent positions are available with established aged care organisations across regional South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. A healthcare recruiter is managing the hiring, and the roles come in full-time and part-time formats, with immediate starts possible in some locations.
The career case is straightforward. You would deliver clinical care to residents as part of a multidisciplinary team, build depth in residential aged care, and have room to progress with a supportive team in a regional community where you intend to stay.
Eligibility is limited to applicants already residing in Australia with full working rights. After six months in the role, a pathway to visa sponsorship is offered, which can add a longer horizon to your professional plans.
