For professional drivers looking for a long-term step into Australian logistics, this permanent full-time MC role offers steady, skilled work with one of the country's largest producers of carrots, onions and potatoes. Several drivers are needed to link the company's South Australian growing and packing operations, whose produce reaches supermarket chains, independent retailers and export markets.
Drivers report to the Transport Manager and build experience across a range of transport operations. The position is based at a regional South Australian site, so you should be ready to move there. Work follows a 7-day roster with varying starts.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate the truck to move produce, and carry out its routine maintenance
- Conduct thorough before-trip and after-trip truck inspections, reporting any defects
- Verify ahead of every journey that loads and straps are secured to National Heavy Vehicle Standards
- Maintain the truck's cleanliness and complete all mandated checks and reports
- Maintain precise records of produce carried, delivered and returned, alongside logs kept to company procedures
- Uphold safety guidelines and all health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current unrestricted MC licence (essential)
- High Risk Work Licence (essential)
- Two years of prior professional truck driving
- Demonstrated experience and capability with a manual road ranger transmission
- Strong work ethic, with a hands-on approach across a broad range of duties
- Flexibility to work a 7-day roster with variable start times
- Meticulous attention to detail in completing paperwork
- Sound knowledge of heavy vehicle laws and regulations, including load restraint, together with basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge
- Fresh produce transport or tautliner and tipper experience is highly regarded
