For a chef ready to lead a first kitchen, or to step up from senior sous chef, this Head Chef position is a clear career move. The employer is a respected hospitality group that is growing, and the venue is a waterfront restaurant of around 80 seats whose kitchen turns out modern Australian dishes with punchy flavours, from smaller plates to sharing platters, using local produce and in-house preparation.
The role covers menu development with the owner, team building and training, and command of the pass. It is full-time on a 38-hour week. Established head chefs are equally welcome. Visa sponsorship is open for discussion for the right person.
