Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to capture business requirements, and express them as technical designs and specifications
- Engineer, test and maintain applications across Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#/.NET and React
- Design, construct and maintain RESTful APIs while integrating applications with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Embed AI capabilities in applications, spanning large language model (LLM) integrations, chatbots and automated workflows
- Carry out data preparation and the building, training and evaluation of machine learning models for prediction, classification and analytics
- Deploy applications through CI/CD pipelines and manage them in AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Develop unit and integration tests, troubleshoot issues, resolve defects promptly, and take part in code reviews to uphold best practices in code quality, security and performance
- Create and maintain technical documentation, test records and user guides, and provide existing systems with ongoing maintenance, enhancements and technical support
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field; alternatively, equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in the design, development and testing of software
- Strong programming skills in Python, complemented by experience in Node.js, C#/.NET or React
- Proven experience in the design of APIs
- Proven experience with relational (SQL) databases
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks, such as the OpenAI API, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Sound understanding of software architecture, version control (Git) and testing methodologies, and experience working within Agile or Scrum teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, combined with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
