Key Responsibilities
- Convert analysed business requirements into software designs and technical specifications
- Engineer software applications in Python, Node.js, C++ and C#/.NET through design, development and maintenance phases
- Develop and integrate AI functionality with large language models, employing frameworks such as LangChain, Flowise and LangGraph
- Build machine learning models addressing regression, predictive analysis, classification and anomaly detection, and evaluate their output
- Apply natural language processing, image processing and sentiment analysis techniques in relevant applications
- Perform feature selection, data preprocessing, model training and performance optimisation
- Enable communication between software systems by developing APIs and database integrations
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing, identify defects, implement corrective changes, and review code to maintain software reliability, quality, performance and security
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, technical specifications and testing records
Requirements & Eligibility
- Academic grounding in the form of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Professional experience of 3+ years in software design, development, testing and maintenance
- Strong programming skills in Python, complemented by experience with Node.js or C#/.NET
- Practical experience with AI or machine learning frameworks such as Keras, scikit-learn or TensorFlow, and experience developing APIs
- Experience working with SQL databases, and an understanding of software architecture, debugging, version control and testing practices
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies, and strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and to contribute effectively within a team; desirable is experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Flowise or other LLM integration tools
