For an RN aiming to deepen a career in aged care, this role brings real clinical scope: assessment, care planning, medication management and leadership of care staff within a residential aged care provider in regional Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical assessment of residents and respond to changes in their health and wellbeing.
- Own the person-centred care planning cycle with residents and families: development, implementation and review.
- Administer medications and clinical treatments in keeping with professional standards, and drive infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to care staff while coordinating care with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers.
- Maintain precise, timely documentation and reporting, support AN-ACC assessments and ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice.
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration (current) as a Registered Nurse.
- 2+ years as an RN in an aged care setting (or equivalent experience).
- Strong competence in clinical assessment and care coordination.
- Capability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management, backed by a sound understanding of medication systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
