Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents' health, monitor vital signs and manage medication and treatment regimes
- Develop and implement individual care plans, delivering evidence-informed nursing care in collaboration with residents and the care team
- Supervise and direct graduate RNs, ENs, student nurses and Personal Care Workers
- Lead the care team to the highest standards and manage performance through regular reviews and development support
- Liaise with clinical colleagues, residents, families, allied health professionals, GPs and external organisations
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor of Nursing with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates and aged care experience
- Professional and ethical practice in aged care and infection control kept current in line with legal and AHPRA requirements and the Nurses Code of Conduct, plus willingness to complete ongoing mandatory training
