Automotive · Hamilton, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $40/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
For mechanics looking to grow in heavy vehicle maintenance, this Hamilton opening is a permanent, full-time position in a fleet workshop. An established transport company runs the workshop on site, and its hands-on team keeps the company's trucks, trailers and equipment safe, reliable and ready for the road.
The role draws on broad technical skills: scheduled servicing and repair work, structured diagnosis of mechanical faults, inspections that identify maintenance requirements, and basic automotive electrical work with fault-finding. Quality and safety are central, as is running an organised workshop.
On the immigration side, the company holds approved accredited employer status with Immigration New Zealand (INZ), meaning it is able to sponsor workers on the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).
