Automotive · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
For automotive professionals who want to deepen their compliance and inspection experience, an Auckland vehicle compliance centre is hiring experienced car mechanics in a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday.
The centre's work spans compliance inspections, servicing and repairs across every vehicle type, including WOF inspections, which gives a mechanic broad exposure in one workshop. The role combines stripping imported cars ahead of inspection, routine servicing, mechanical repair work and collecting parts from suppliers, alongside system work such as entering invoices, WOF inspections and repair time on the computer.
On eligibility, the business is an accredited employer able to sponsor work visas; this position, however, is onshore and open only to applicants who already hold New Zealand citizenship or residency.
Position your CV around progression: the years you have spent as a mechanic, the complexity of the repairs you handle and any compliance or inspection exposure. Shape a career-focused CV with Build AI CV before you submit it.
