Key Responsibilities
- Perform skilled garden maintenance including lawn care, pruning, planting, trimming and weeding to a high standard
- Lead the team through example while delivering exceptional client service
- Operate and maintain a wide variety of landscaping equipment: lawn mowers, chainsaws, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, power washers and building tools
- Maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues, addressing their requirements and concerns
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a landscape gardener, ideally covering hard landscaping
- Horticultural qualification
- Outstanding horticultural knowledge and a professional interest in plants
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients
- Effective both within a team and unsupervised
- Follows instructions reliably and meets deadlines
- Full driver's licence for manual and automatic vehicles (training on manual is available where needed)
- Strong health and safety focus
- Attention to detail with a high level of initiative
- Good level of physical fitness
- Right to work in NZ
