A family-owned broadacre cropping business near Griffith, NSW needs someone to take ownership of machinery maintenance and keep its operation running through the cropping year, on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the maintenance and repair of every item of farm equipment
- Carry out inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts
- Order parts and troubleshoot breakdowns
- Complete mobile repairs in the field during busy periods
- Maintain the workshop and manage the spare parts inventory
- Coordinate with machinery operators and managers and supervise junior staff where required
- Record maintenance and operations data
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic, or strong relevant experience in the trade
- Capacity to work independently and resolve problems under pressure
- Exposure to agricultural or heavy machinery is advantageous
- Strong work ethic and dependability during peak seasons
- Clear communication skills
- Sound organisational skills
