Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cut, trim and portion beef, lamb, chicken and goat in line with halal standards
- Make sure all meat products are handled, stored and displayed correctly
- Guide customers through selections and special orders, with cooking advice where needed
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace that meets food safety standards, and cooperate with the team on daily operations
Requirements & Eligibility
- Prior experience as a butcher; halal experience is highly regarded
- Sound knife and portioning technique, with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of halal requirements in meat preparation
- A customer-focused approach, good communication skills, reliability, a hardworking attitude and team spirit
