For a manager looking to step up to full site responsibility, this Branch Manager position in Alice Springs, NT offers clear ownership of a business unit. The employer is one of Australia's largest independent automotive glass companies and has served trade, retail, fleet and insurance customers for more than 30 years.
The role combines commercial management, people leadership and customer service. You will lead three staff, namely two qualified fitters and a highly experienced leading hand, with consistent support from senior management. Experience from automotive workshops, retail management, trade operations or service backgrounds is relevant. As an approved employer under the Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement, the company can provide visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
The position is Full-Time, at $80,000 - $100,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily workflows across the branch
- Track financial performance against budgets and maintain operational efficiency
- Plan staff rosters and coach team members
- Oversee performance and foster a positive workshop culture
- Manage inventory and stock control and develop local supplier relationships to secure product availability
- Drive growth in trade, retail, fleet and insurance accounts and provide high-quality service by phone and in person
- Maintain strict WHS standards, store security and accurate admin records, and assist with basic automotive glass fitting or repairs at busy times (on-the-job training provided)
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven track record as a Workshop Manager, Service Manager, Branch Manager, Retail Manager or Operations Manager
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Business awareness and computer skills
- A current valid driver's licence (mandatory)
- Visa applicants must be nominated as Retail Manager (General), ANZSCO 142111
- Visa applicants must hold relevant formal qualifications and suitable management experience, show English proficiency and meet NT DAMA eligibility
