For a technician who wants to grow in Australian field service, this Brisbane role brings broad, hands-on work. A household appliance repair business is seeking a service and repair technician to diagnose and resolve faults in refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, clothes dryers, ovens and cooktops at customers' homes.
The position involves travel across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas and a high degree of autonomy, as you will manage your own service calls. It is open to apprentices completing an electrical or refrigeration apprenticeship, particularly those who have gained service and fault-finding experience.
Engagement is full-time or casual with an immediate start. The employer is recruiting from candidates already in Australia: suitably qualified or experienced onshore applicants may be considered for sponsorship under an approved visa program (for example 482 or 407), subject to Australian immigration requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults across a range of domestic appliances, from refrigerators and dishwashers to washing machines, clothes dryers, ovens and cooktops
- Carry out repairs on household appliances in customers' homes
- Perform servicing on household appliances on site
- Travel to assignments throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas
- Manage service calls autonomously
Requirements & Eligibility
- Aptitude for, or experience in, household appliance service and repair
- Electrical or refrigeration apprentices in the course of completing their apprenticeship are welcome, particularly those with service and fault-finding experience
- Restricted or full electrical licence
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently
