Key Responsibilities

Interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications for each job
Deliver waterproofing for bathrooms, balconies, wet areas and structural applications
Ready surfaces and substrates to receive waterproofing systems
Install membranes, sealants and associated products
Complete waterproofing installations to project requirements while sustaining accurate, professional workmanship
Examine surfaces and finished applications for quality and compliance
Collaborate with builders, tilers and other construction trades
Comply with the relevant Australian Standards, site procedures and WHS requirements
Install wall and floor tiling across residential and commercial projects
Measure, cut and place tiles precisely as each project specifies
Carry out grouting, sealing and fine finishing work
Condition surfaces so they are suitable for tiling
Sequence tiling with waterproofing and other site activities, identifying and rectifying quality issues where required
Keep every work area safe, tidy and well organised

Requirements & Eligibility

For the Waterproofer position – Recognised Waterproofing Qualification
For the Waterproofer position – Minimum two years of relevant industry experience preferred
For the Waterproofer position – practical experience on residential or commercial waterproofing projects that you can demonstrate
For the Waterproofer position – understanding of waterproofing practices, building requirements and WHS procedures
For the Waterproofer position – capacity to collaborate effectively with other construction trades
For the Tiler position – Certificate III in Wall & Floor Tiling or equivalent
For the Tiler position – Minimum two years of relevant industry experience preferred
For the Tiler position – demonstrated hands-on wall and floor tiling experience
For the Tiler position – keen attention to detail, measurements and finished presentation
For the Tiler position – capacity to interpret plans, drawings and specifications
For the Tiler position – practical understanding of surface preparation and waterproofing requirements
