Key Responsibilities

Manage receipt of incoming stock, including unloading and checking deliveries
Operate forklifts safely to receive, store and relocate materials
Coordinate the picking, checking and preparation of customer orders
Secure goods for transport through palletising, labelling and shrink-wrapping
Load materials onto trucks and other vehicles safely
Structure product storage so stock can be located and dispatched efficiently
Handle delivery and collection of construction materials at local work sites
Log relevant warehouse equipment movements and support stock monitoring and scheduled stocktakes
Uphold workplace health and safety procedures and a clean, organised, safe warehouse
Maintain professional communication with customers, drivers and site personnel
Take accountability for daily warehouse priorities, ensuring orders are completed accurately and on schedule

Requirements & Eligibility

Previous hands-on warehouse experience, backed by strong and practical forklift operation
A current Australian LF forklift licence, or the eligibility to obtain the required licence
Capability to safely handle materials weighing up to 25kg
Good communication and customer-service skills, combined with the ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
Strong attention to detail and stock accuracy, and a reliable, responsible work approach
Background in construction, building supplies, logistics or a related environment is advantageous
Holding a current HR licence is highly regarded
Small truck driving experience would be advantageous
Openness to combining local delivery work with warehouse duties
A clear, demonstrable and verifiable employment history relevant to the position, and the ability to satisfy Australian employment and, where applicable, visa requirements
