The portfolio spans elegant weddings, corporate functions, gala dinners and private celebrations, and the team's focus is seamless service and memorable guest experiences. Rotating across venues and event styles, and working beside experienced hospitality and event professionals, builds broad, transferable service skills.
Candidates from India and elsewhere with relevant overseas hospitality experience may be considered for sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest service: welcome guests, deliver polished and attentive service throughout each event, and respond promptly as needs arise
- Event setup: prepare tables, dining areas, function rooms and service stations
- Order and delivery: take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them efficiently to service standards
- Turnover and presentation: clear and reset tables during and after functions, keeping Front of House clean, organised and presentable
- Teamwork: collaborate closely with kitchen, event and service teams
- Event operations: help weddings, corporate functions, private events and large celebrations run smoothly
- Compliance: follow venue procedures on food safety, hygiene, workplace safety and responsible alcohol service
- Professionalism and adaptability: maintain a professional appearance and positive approach on every shift, and adjust to different venues, event formats, guest requirements and service demands
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience in hospitality, waiting, functions or customer service is preferred
- Genuine motivation to deliver high-quality guest experiences
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Reliability, punctuality and professional presentation
- Composure in busy, fast-changing environments
- Ability to collaborate with kitchen and Front of House teams
- Flexibility to cover evening, weekend, public holiday and event-based shifts
- A current Australian RSA certificate or a willingness to obtain one
- Appropriate Australian working rights, where applicable
- Relevant overseas hospitality experience may be considered for sponsorship
- Willingness to work at multiple venues throughout New South Wales
