Key Responsibilities
- Monitor business performance, contribute to sales and growth initiatives and support effective cost control and responsible use of venue resources
- Lead from the front with an active, hands-on presence during peak service periods
- Inspire and guide employees to develop a capable, engaged hospitality team
- Support onboarding, training, coaching and long-term development of staff
- Plan rosters and staffing requirements for efficient operations
- Oversee stock, ordering and inventory processes
- Uphold strong standards of cleanliness, presentation and operational organisation
- Respond to customer concerns professionally and implement practical resolutions
- Foster a positive workplace culture built on teamwork, accountability and respect
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, food safety and operational procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, restaurant or venue management
- Proven capability to lead and develop a hospitality team
- Track record managing the operational demands of a high-volume venue
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident, hands-on leadership style
- Capacity to stay organised and effective during peak periods
- Experience in rostering, staff coordination and inventory management
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities, plus the capacity to contribute to sales performance and operational targets
- Relevant employment history verifiable through professional references and appropriate verification
- Commitment to professional workplace and safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
