Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily venue operations in a busy hospitality setting
- Drive front-of-house performance and service delivery
- Lead and supervise hospitality staff across trading periods, setting the benchmark by leading from the floor
- Develop and manage staff rosters
- Train, coach and mentor team members
- Uphold consistent service and customer experience standards, responding effectively to feedback and resolving issues
- Manage stock ordering and inventory requirements
- Monitor labour, stock and operational costs
- Coordinate functions, events and special bookings
- Sustain smooth operations through peak periods, identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions
- Cultivate a professional and positive workplace culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in venue management or senior hospitality supervision
- Demonstrated, verifiable hospitality industry experience
- In-depth understanding of front-of-house operations
- Track record of leading and developing hospitality teams
- Confidence managing service within a busy environment
- Knowledge of rostering, labour management and cost control, along with stock management and ordering experience
- Strong customer service and communication capability
- Capability to manage functions and events
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Hands-on, professional leadership that sets an example for the team
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated industry experience, with evidence supporting claimed skills and employment history
