Key Responsibilities

Engage in professional training and ongoing hair education
Provide professional hair cutting and styling
Carry out colour treatments tailored to client requirements
Evaluate client needs and offer suitable professional recommendations
Achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes across a range of services
Cultivate professional relationships with new and returning clients
Manage an organised, productive client schedule
Grow and retain a loyal personal clientele
Ensure a welcoming, professional experience for every customer while upholding salon hygiene, presentation and workplace standards
Collaborate with fellow stylists and salon staff, sharing knowledge to strengthen a positive team environment
Expand your knowledge of current techniques, products and industry trends
Take accountability for the quality and consistency of completed services

Requirements & Eligibility

NZ Level 4 Hairdressing Certificate or an internationally recognised equivalent qualification
At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience across cutting and colouring
Experienced candidates with relevant backgrounds may be considered where formal qualifications differ
Demonstrable practical hairdressing capability supported by genuine work experience
Confidence in performing professional cutting and colouring services
Strong client consultation and interpersonal abilities
Capacity to establish trust and sustain long-term client relationships
A professional attitude towards customer service and workplace responsibilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team
Willingness to pursue ongoing technical and professional development
Ability to provide genuine evidence of qualifications and previous employment
Applicants must satisfy the relevant requirements for sponsored employment in New Zealand
