Warehouse and logistics professionals looking for stable, long-term work abroad can consider this permanent full-time Nightshift Storeperson role with a busy operation in the North Island, New Zealand.

The position offers a minimum of 40 hours per week, ongoing training and development opportunities and employer-provided health insurance, giving you room to build your skills over time. Your role will be central to efficient warehouse operations, inventory handling and customer service, all in an environment where safety comes first. Employer sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, including experienced applicants from India and other countries.

Key Responsibilities

Complete order picking accurately in line with customer requirements
Pack orders carefully to the same customer standards
Make sure customer orders are ready for dispatch within the required timeframes
Use forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading and moving goods
Carry out container devanning, unloading shipping containers
Manage manual handling and stock movement within the warehouse
Take in, inspect and store incoming inventory
Maintain warehouse administration records and inventory documentation
Deliver professional customer service as required
Undertake MPI Accredited Person duties where applicable
Uphold a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
Comply with workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Contribute effectively to the nightshift warehouse team

Requirements & Eligibility

Previous warehouse or logistics experience: highly desirable
Minimum one year operating forklifts, plus experience on forklifts up to 5-tonne capacity and on reach trucks
A forklift licence or relevant certification is preferred
Experience with forklift attachments would be advantageous but is not essential
Physical fitness to carry out manual handling duties
Close attention to detail and a firm commitment to workplace safety
Capacity to work both autonomously and within a team
Dependability, motivation and availability for permanent nightshift hours
Effective communication and organisational skills
