Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of day-to-day shotcrete activities across assigned projects, contributing to efficient delivery and successful site outcomes
  • Operate shotcrete machinery and equipment for specialist ground support applications, monitoring its condition and performing routine maintenance
  • Prepare surfaces and apply shotcrete to specification using appropriate concrete mixing and spraying techniques
  • Partner with anchoring and drilling crews throughout ground engineering operations
  • Uphold consistent application quality and workmanship
  • Mentor team members in practical skills and champion strong safety awareness
  • Recognise and adapt appropriately to changing site and environmental conditions
  • Comply with project-specific safety, quality and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with supervisors, operators and other site personnel

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Proven professional experience as a Shotcreter, including demonstrated operation of shotcrete machinery and related equipment
  • Strong practical knowledge of shotcrete application and concrete mixing
  • Background in ground engineering, ground support or allied construction environments
  • Capacity to demonstrate and verify prior relevant employment and technical experience
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, including alongside anchoring and drilling teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Nationally accredited OHS Card / White Card or equivalent
  • Full driving licence along with own reliable transport
  • MR licence for line pump operations where applicable
  • Capacity to work in demanding site and environmental conditions
  • Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
  • Relevant Australian work rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored employment
  • Visa sponsorship is available to suitably qualified candidates with verifiable experience
