Senior Stylist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with new and returning clients
• Deliver high-quality cutting, colouring and styling services
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences
• Recommend suitable services and professional products to clients
• Create personalised looks to an excellent technical standard
• Provide a professional, memorable client experience
• Work confidently with professional haircare products, tools and equipment
• Stay current with emerging hair trends, techniques and industry practices
• Uphold a consistently high standard of salon presentation and hygiene
• Collaborate with fellow stylists and the wider salon team
• Share knowledge with and provide guidance to junior team members, and participate in training, workshops and ongoing professional development
• Contribute to a positive, productive and client-focused salon culture

Requirements & Eligibility

• A recognised hairdressing qualification, plus evidence of your relevant qualifications and industry experience
• Proven background as a Senior Stylist or in an equivalent senior-level position
• Strong hands-on capability in cutting, colouring and styling
• A demonstrated employment history in professional salons
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• A client service approach that is professional
• Capacity to work autonomously while contributing effectively to the team
• Genuine passion for hairdressing and for delivering high-quality results
• Readiness to mentor and support stylists who are still developing
• Dedication to continuous learning and skills development
