Key Responsibilities

Provide the salon's clients with professional hairdressing and styling
Run detailed consultations that uncover each client's specific hair requirements
Perform cuts, colour work, styling and other salon services
Achieve polished, consistent outcomes that meet professional standards
Advise clients on fitting hair care, styling and upkeep options
Undertake hair extension work where qualified or experienced
Develop long-term client relationships and strengthen retention through quality service and professional communication
Ensure each visit feels professional and welcoming
Uphold high standards of personal presentation and salon professionalism
Collaborate with fellow stylists and the wider salon staff
Maintain a clean, orderly and hygienic workstation
Comply with salon procedures and health and safety requirements
Track developments in hair trends and techniques across the industry, and take part in professional training and skills development
Help sustain a positive and productive salon culture

Requirements & Eligibility

Recognised industry training or a relevant hairdressing qualification
Proven experience working as a Senior Hair Stylist or as an experienced professional hairdresser
A demonstrable track record in professional salons
Strong technical command of modern hairdressing techniques
Confident client consultation and interpersonal skills
A high level of attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
Passion for hairdressing and dedication to ongoing skills development
A professional, reliable and motivated approach to work
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
Sound understanding of salon hygiene, safety and professional standards
Ability to verify your professional identity, qualifications and relevant employment experience, and willingness to complete the required verification process
Hair extension experience is highly regarded
