Key Responsibilities

Restrict access to secure facilities to authorised individuals only
Carry out routine patrols
Identify potential security concerns during patrols and across the site
Maintain situational awareness and respond to suspicious behaviour
Monitor alarms and respond to them
Manage incidents and emergency situations as they arise
Project a professional, approachable security presence
Communicate effectively with authorised personnel, contractors and visitors
Apply established security procedures and site protocols with consistency
Exercise sound judgement when escalating concerns
Prepare accurate reports, logs and other security documentation
Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive information
Contribute to a secure, respectful and professional workplace

Requirements & Eligibility

Australian Citizenship may be required for security clearance eligibility
Current QLD Security Licence held
Current security clearance is advantageous
Willingness and eligibility to undergo the required security clearance process
Successful completion of applicable identity, credential and background verification requirements
Demonstrated integrity, honesty and accountability to a high standard
Strong communication skills
A high level of attention to detail and situational awareness, with composure and professionalism under pressure
Ability to adhere to strict security and operational procedures
Previous experience in security or another sensitive operational environment is desirable
Relevant sponsorship eligibility requirements met where applicable
