Sales And Bakery Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Find hands-on ways to lift sales, efficiency and customer satisfaction
Oversee day-to-day bakery operations so they run without disruption
Set the standard through personal example, working hands-on at peak times while coordinating and backing the team across each shift
Train and grow staff so service quality stays consistent
Create a strong experience for customers and contribute to sales results
Track stock levels, ordering requirements and product wastage
Uphold hygiene, food safety and operational standards
Handle staffing and react to daily operational needs
Back ongoing improvement throughout the bakery

Requirements & Eligibility

Demonstrated background in retail, hospitality, food service or a management environment
Proven capability to lead, supervise or support a team, combined with a reliable, organised approach and comfort in taking responsibility
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, a customer focus and an understanding of sales and business performance
A hands-on approach to daily operational challenges and the ability to remain effective in a busy, fast-moving workplace
Prior experience in a bakery is advantageous
Capacity to provide supporting evidence of relevant employment experience and skills
Must satisfy applicable New Zealand immigration and visa requirements
