Rope Access Technician

Rope access is a specialist skill set with clear room to progress, and this role is built around that. A specialist building maintenance operation is recruiting qualified Rope Access Technicians at Level 1, 2 or 3 for projects throughout Victoria.
Expect a blend of rope access and practical maintenance: façade services, window cleaning, painting, caulking, glazing, inspections and remedial works. Your certification level, logged rope hours, previous site experience and supporting trade qualifications will shape the work and development opportunities offered to you.
Technicians who want to advance can access additional training, with potential progression into supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in continuing training and professional development
- Execute rope access tasks in compliance with industry and site safety procedures
- Perform high-access and building maintenance assignments
- Deliver rope-based window cleaning on commercial properties
- Apply paint finishes
- Repair concrete surfaces
- Seal joints and complete caulking
- Support glazing works and façade upkeep
- Contribute to inspections of building façades
- Assist on remedial projects
- Operate and service rope access gear safely
- Escalate site hazards and equipment concerns promptly
- Produce accurate work to a professional standard
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow site personnel
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current Construction White Card
- Valid, current IRATA or SPRAT certification held at Level 1, 2 or 3
- Level 1 candidates need at least 500 logged rope access hours
- Current First Aid certification
- Rope access experience that is practical and verifiable
- Advantageous: demonstrated experience in caulking, glazing, painting, window cleaning or concrete repair
- A firm commitment to workplace safety

- Capacity to evidence qualifications and tickets
- Capacity to evidence relevant work experience
- Australian driver's licence preferred
- Openness to completing additional training where required
- Availability Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
