Roofer / solar Installer

Working alongside an experienced team on solar installation projects, you will have opportunities to develop your technical skills and grow within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow technical drawings, manuals and installation instructions accurately
  • Support commercial and industrial solar system installations
  • Position and install solar panels and mounting structures under supervision from the team
  • Operate hand tools and basic power tools appropriately
  • Handle materials, equipment and components with safety in mind
  • Contribute to daily installation activities as part of the team
  • Assist with site set-up, preparation and clean-up
  • Maintain organised, hazard-free work areas
  • Comply with established workplace health and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with installers, supervisors and other site personnel, and work independently when required
  • Deliver assigned tasks with attention to quality and detail
  • Travel interstate for projects as necessary

Requirements & Eligibility

  • A genuine interest in growing a long-term career in renewable energy
  • Relevant hands-on experience across solar, construction, electrical support or installation work; previous solar installation experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Capacity to demonstrate genuine practical skills and employment experience
  • Capacity to interpret technical drawings, manuals and work instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and practical thinking skills, with a reliable, motivated and committed approach to work
  • A strong workplace safety focus, together with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
  • Willingness to travel interstate when required
  • Australian Driver Licence
  • Own vehicle and reliable transport
  • Construction White Card, or a willingness to obtain it
  • Height Safety ticket, or a willingness to obtain it
  • Sponsorship available for the right candidate
