Key Responsibilities

Deliver commercial roofing systems through to completion, covering metal roofing, cladding, wall cladding, flashings and related components
Interpret plans, drawings and project specifications, and measure, cut and position materials accurately
Perform roofing work in elevated environments, operating hand tools, power tools and roofing equipment safely
Coordinate with supervisors and other trades across active construction sites
Sustain a high standard of workmanship on each project
Comply with safety and site procedures and keep the work area clean, safe and organised
Assist in preparing and moving roofing materials
Identify workmanship or installation issues and escalate them to supervisors
Contribute to general roofing and cladding activities as required

Requirements & Eligibility

Demonstrated professional roofing experience, including commercial or industrial construction projects
Proven experience with metal roofing preferred
Practical command of roofing and cladding installation methods, with competence using standard roofing tools and equipment
Capacity to work safely and confidently at heights
Ability to interpret and follow construction plans and specifications
Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
Reliable, punctual and committed, with effective communication and cooperation across site teams
Relevant roofing trade qualification highly regarded
Current driver's licence preferred
Capacity to supply photographs, portfolio examples or other evidence of previous roofing work, together with employment or trade history supporting the experience claimed
Prepared to relocate and work in South Australia
