Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise front-of-house employees
- Oversee the restaurant's daily operation
- Define clear expectations for service and workplace performance
- Coach and develop team members to keep standards consistent
- Prepare rosters, manage staffing requirements and monitor labour utilisation and operational efficiency
- Drive smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Oversee guest service across breakfast, lunch and dinner, handling customer enquiries, feedback and service concerns
- Manage reservations and booking enquiries
- Monitor stock, inventory and associated restaurant records
- Contribute to menu development, seasonal changes and operational improvements
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation and service standards, and monitor food safety, licensing, WH&S and workplace compliance
- Collaborate with management to refine operational processes and lift team performance
- Model professional behaviour and lead by example
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience taking ownership of restaurant operations
- A minimum two years' relevant full-time experience in restaurant management, and/or a relevant diploma
- A verifiable employment history relevant to this position
- Capacity to supply supporting evidence of previous professional experience
- Strong leadership and staff-management capabilities
- Confident written and verbal communication
- Sound organisational and time-management skills
- Practical experience in rostering and workforce coordination, with an understanding of labour costs and restaurant cost control
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution capabilities
- Remains organised and effective during busy service periods
- A professional, reliable and accountable work ethic
- Genuine interest in hospitality operations and team development
- Consistency in maintaining service, presentation and cleanliness standards
