A structured FIFO pathway in Western Australia is open to Refrigeration Mechanics who want to take their trade career further.

Dependability matters most here: the team needs tradespeople who can operate without close supervision, work through technical problems and hold high standards on demanding sites. Safety, flexibility, technical ability and consistent service are all highly valued.

Expect an 8/6 roster, 12-hour shifts, competitive remuneration and room to keep developing professionally. Technicians from India and elsewhere can use this role to deepen their expertise in remote operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and complete routine refrigeration servicing and preventative maintenance, using inspections to identify upcoming maintenance needs
Pinpoint and correct refrigeration system faults, applying both electrical and mechanical diagnostics
Restore and maintain refrigeration plant and associated equipment
Act quickly on breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs, providing dependable service in remote site conditions
Work safely and efficiently within site safety procedures and compliance obligations
Document service activity accurately in reports and maintenance records
Partner with maintenance teams and wider site personnel
Look after tools, equipment and work areas

Requirements & Eligibility

Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic holding relevant trade certification, with a background in commercial and/or domestic refrigeration
Valid ARC Licence together with a current WA Restricted Electrical Licence
Current driver's licence
Openness to obtaining or converting licences and certifications where required
Australian Federal Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
Working at Heights and EWP certification, or readiness to complete it
First Aid, LV Rescue and CPR certification, or readiness to complete it
White Card / Construction Card, or readiness to obtain one
Capacity to satisfy medical and drug and alcohol screening requirements
Physical capacity for 12-hour shifts in demanding environments, a flexible, reliable outlook on FIFO work and a strong commitment to safety
Eligible Australian/New Zealand working rights, or suitability for sponsorship
