The salon is seeking a skilled, motivated Hairdresser who can confidently deliver a broad range of professional services and create an excellent experience for every client.

The position is permanent and full-time at 38 hours per week, paying $78,000 plus superannuation. Ongoing training, professional support and opportunities for career development are included, which makes it attractive for stylists from India and elsewhere planning long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering professional haircuts for women, men and children, along with blow-drying, styling and finishing to a high standard
Performing colouring techniques including foils, balayage, toning and root retouching, as well as shampooing and hair treatments
Conducting detailed pre-service consultations and recommending suitable hairstyles, colours and haircare solutions
Ensuring a professional, positive client experience and recommending appropriate retail haircare products
Maintaining high standards of personal presentation, salon hygiene and clean, organised workstations
Following salon procedures, safety practices and professional standards
Collaborating with colleagues to support efficient daily operations and a friendly, welcoming salon

Requirements & Eligibility

Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent qualification
At least 2 years of relevant professional hairdressing experience
Demonstrated experience across cutting, colouring and styling
Competence in modern colouring techniques, including foils and balayage
Strong consultation and client relationship skills, with excellent communication and customer service abilities
A professional, detail-oriented approach, being reliable, well presented and committed to professional standards
Capacity to manage multiple client requirements in a busy salon
Effective teamwork within a salon environment
Must satisfy the relevant requirements for visa sponsorship
