Pub & Restaurant Management Position

Experienced hospitality leaders looking for their next management step should consider this opportunity with an established pub and restaurant. The business is seeking a Hospitality Manager to own daily operations, develop a strong team culture and keep service seamless at peak times.

Success requires a realistic grasp of hospitality management, spanning rostering, stock control, customer service, staff development and venue standards. You will partner closely with the owner while remaining actively involved in the operation, a role well suited to managers from India and elsewhere who want broader operational responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily pub and restaurant operations, coordinating staff through service and stepping onto the floor when required
Manage rosters and support payroll administration
Oversee inventory, purchasing and ordering with a clear view of stock usage and operating costs
Coach, support and motivate the team, and contribute to recruitment, induction and ongoing training
Uphold consistently high customer service standards
Keep the venue clean and well presented
Champion responsible service of alcohol and RSA compliance
Partner with the owner to identify and implement operational improvements
Resolve day-to-day issues with confident decision-making in busy periods
Foster a positive, professional and accountable workplace culture

Requirements & Eligibility

Demonstrated hospitality industry background, including previous supervisory or management experience and proven ability to lead and manage hospitality staff
Strong customer service and communication skills, and a confident, professional approach with customers and employees
Capacity to manage busy service periods effectively
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Capacity to work independently and own operational decisions
Current and valid RSA certification
Must be 18 years or older
A hands-on, reliable and committed approach to venue operations and to work
Capacity to travel reliably to and from the workplace
Capacity to provide verifiable evidence of relevant hospitality experience
Must meet applicable requirements for sponsorship
