Key Responsibilities

Contribute to programming, work sequencing and overall build planning
Oversee the daily engineering and building activities across large projects
Plan and oversee formwork and concrete structural works
Study drawings, specifications and engineering documents in detail
Direct the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and building crews on site
Manage technical coordination between consultants, engineers and subcontractors
Track progress against schedules and key milestones
Support contract administration and project reporting
Keep project records, documents and progress reports in order
Identify site issues, help shape practical technical solutions and check quality against project requirements
Support senior project staff with delivery and coordination, and facilitate communication between site and project stakeholders
Drive the safe, efficient and timely completion of construction works

Requirements & Eligibility

Proven formwork and concrete structures experience, together with experience on high-rise, commercial or large-scale building projects
Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management, plus 2–5+ years of relevant post-graduate construction experience
Background working with a construction subcontractor
Understanding of programming and work sequencing on construction projects, and experience in contract administration
Strong capability in subcontractor coordination and management
Good technical, communication and organisational skills
Capacity to demonstrate and verify relevant qualifications and professional experience
Relevant overseas construction experience is welcomed
Ability to satisfy Australian employment and sponsorship requirements, with sponsorship on offer for suitable candidates holding verified and relevant experience
