Key Responsibilities
- Act as the link between engineering, quality, purchasing and manufacturing teams throughout product development, while overseeing the transition of new products from prototype to full production
- Design, validate and enhance manufacturing processes for electronic and mechanical products, and support the test systems, fixtures and production equipment behind them
- Apply structured root cause analysis to manufacturing, testing and product quality issues
- Roll out corrective and preventive actions that strengthen product reliability and manufacturing performance
- Interpret production data to uncover efficiency, quality and cost gains, and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous process improvement projects
- Produce and maintain engineering documentation, manufacturing procedures, test plans and engineering change documentation
- Engage with suppliers and manufacturing partners to secure production readiness and ongoing improvements
- Offer technical support in production and contribute to sustaining engineering activities
- Undertake occasional international travel as needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- In-depth understanding of the new product introduction (NPI) process and of manufacturing readiness
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience gained in electronics and mechanical manufacturing settings
- Background in developing, supporting or troubleshooting manufacturing test fixtures and production equipment
- Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing and assembly processes
- Working knowledge of quality systems and inventory management
- Capability to analyse manufacturing processes and introduce productivity and quality improvements
- Highly desirable: experience in PCB assembly manufacturing and electronic production testing
- Advantageous: familiarity with engineering documentation or product lifecycle management systems
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Communication in English at a professional level
- Openness to occasional international travel
