In this role you will support day-to-day kitchen operations, crafting quality pizzas while keeping preparation efficient, food handling safe and service standards consistent.

Experienced cooks from India and elsewhere can use their proven professional background to gain a footing in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas to the required recipes and quality standards, using consistent preparation, cooking and presentation techniques
Produce dough, sauces, toppings and other pizza components for service
Operate commercial pizza ovens safely and regulate cooking temperatures
Plan and manage preparation efficiently before and throughout service, sustaining quality during high-volume periods
Comply with food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures and keep the pizza station clean, organised and service-ready
Apply accurate portion control and minimise unnecessary food waste
Accommodate dietary requirements and special requests appropriately
Coordinate service closely with chefs and kitchen staff, maintaining professional communication and teamwork
Assist with general kitchen duties as required

Requirements & Eligibility

Demonstrated background as a Pizza Chef or in a similar commercial kitchen role
Proven practical capability in pizza preparation and cooking
In-depth knowledge of dough preparation, toppings, sauces and pizza production
Experience operating commercial pizza ovens, including wood-fired or gas-fired equipment
Familiarity with Australian-style expectations for food safety and hygiene
Capacity to maintain consistent food quality under pressure
Keen attention to detail and presentation
Ability to collaborate effectively within a professional kitchen team
A reliable, flexible and professional approach
Ability to provide genuine evidence of relevant employment and industry experience; relevant hospitality or food-handling qualifications are advantageous
Candidates must satisfy applicable visa sponsorship requirements where relevant
