Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to piling, foundation, concreting and steel fixing works on construction sites
- Help ensure construction machinery is operated safely
- Develop construction know-how through supervised hands-on training and continued site exposure
- Collaborate with supervisors and seasoned crew members
- Comply with site directions, safety procedures and quality requirements
- Ready and maintain tools and equipment, keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
- Show reliable attendance and steady performance
- Progressively accept extra duties on the path towards senior crew and team leadership roles
Requirements & Eligibility
- Physical capability to perform manual construction work
- A dependable approach to regular attendance, combined with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Openness to learning new construction skills from experienced workers
- Capacity to understand and act on workplace instructions
- Effectiveness as a member of a construction team
- Prior labouring or construction experience is beneficial but not essential
- Concreting, steel fixing, piling or machinery experience is advantageous
- Readiness to participate in workplace training
- Ability to supply genuine evidence of previous employment or relevant experience where applicable
