Key Responsibilities

Support the broader bakery team in delivering on production requirements
Measure and prep ingredients for pastries, cakes and additional bakery products
Combine ingredients accurately and operate mixers, ovens, dispensers and other commercial production machinery
Monitor baking and production processes for consistency, in line with established recipes, procedures and quality standards
Sustain an efficient, well-organised production workflow
Apply HACCP, GMP, food safety and hygiene requirements across daily operations
Maintain hygienic, clean work areas and care for bakery machinery and production equipment throughout production
Safely lift, carry, push and pull materials and products weighing up to 25kg

Requirements & Eligibility

Demonstrated capability to prepare and produce pastry or bakery products
Practical background in a commercial bakery, pastry or food-production environment
Understanding of HACCP and GMP principles
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices in commercial operations
Competence operating bakery equipment safely and efficiently
Strong focus on consistency and product quality, and the ability to contribute effectively within a production-focused team
A relevant food-production or baking qualification is advantageous
Physically capable of handling loads of up to 25kg
Current residence in Australia
Capacity to supply supporting evidence of relevant qualifications and work experience
Eligible candidates may be considered for sponsorship under the Orana DAMA
