Key Responsibilities

Manage inbound containers and shipments safely through unloading
Carry out container devanning and arrange received goods
Process incoming stock accurately after inspection, verifying quantities, product condition and receiving information
Replenish stock and maintain well-organised storage areas
Support order picking and packing as required
Operate forklifts with safety and responsibility
Uphold high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness
Adhere to workplace health, safety and operational procedures
Prioritise daily activities for an efficient workflow
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics colleagues, flagging any discrepancies, damaged goods or receiving issues
Adapt to changing priorities and assist other warehouse functions when required

Requirements & Eligibility

Relevant background in warehousing, logistics, distribution or stock handling
Current and valid forklift licence
Genuine, verifiable employment experience relevant to the position, and the ability to demonstrate practical warehouse and forklift-handling capability
Strong attention to detail across receiving, storage and stock management
Reliable attendance and a professional approach to responsibilities
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the discipline to follow established procedures accurately
Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
Physical capability for warehouse and manual handling duties
MPI Accredited Person certification is an advantage, and an understanding of MPI requirements for container handling is an advantage
Ability to meet applicable requirements for employer-sponsored employment
