Key Responsibilities

Study workshop drawings, technical plans and specifications, then decide on suitable fabrication methods and welding techniques
Fabricate and weld for bespoke, customised client jobs
Manufacture well-finished components in steel, aluminium and stainless-steel
Run fabrication machinery, tools and workshop equipment safely, complying with workplace health and safety requirements without exception
Travel out for installation and field work as required
Work through challenges using practical, trade-based solutions
Partner with project teams to meet quality expectations and deadlines, keeping precision, detail and professional workmanship front of mind
Feed ideas and technical know-how into continuous improvement

Requirements & Eligibility

Relevant trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, Welding, or similar
Demonstrated track record in professional fabrication and welding settings, including hands-on work with a range of metals and fabrication processes
Capacity to showcase strong technical capability and earlier project work, with competence in reading and making sense of engineering drawings
Strong commitment to quality, dependability and safety on the job
Effective both on your own and as part of a crew, bringing practical problem-solving and close attention to detail
Willingness to take on duties based in the workshop and, occasionally, on site
Overseas-qualified tradespeople with verifiable experience are encouraged to apply
