Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on vehicles
- Undertake mechanical repairs and replace components
- Assess the mechanical condition of vehicles through inspection
- Apply suitable testing methods and equipment to diagnose faults
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and fault-finding
- Determine repair requirements and propose appropriate solutions
- Finish assigned repairs efficiently and to a high standard, upholding professional standards across all repair and servicing work
- Handle workshop tools and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly in line with established workshop procedures and safety standards
- Contribute effectively whether working independently or with other team members
- Expand your technical knowledge and practical automotive skills over time
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant automotive background, for example as an Automotive Mechanic or Apprentice Mechanic
- Apprentices in their 1st Year and 2nd Year are encouraged to apply
- Experienced and Qualified Mechanics are also welcome to apply
- Applicants completing a Job Ready Program may be considered
- Overseas candidates with relevant automotive experience are encouraged to apply
- Proven hands-on experience in vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs
- Experience in automotive diagnostics and fault-finding is advantageous
- Capacity to demonstrate genuine, practical automotive capability
- A reliable, punctual and accountable work approach, professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices, with the ability to work independently and add positively to a team
- Motivation to build and strengthen a long-term career in the automotive industry
