Are you an experienced landscaping tradesperson ready to own the quality of your work on commercial projects? A professional team delivering ongoing landscape construction in the Northern Territory is recruiting a skilled Commercial Landscaper.

The scope gives you exposure to the full landscape construction cycle, from excavation and site preparation through drainage and irrigation, paving, retaining structures, turfing and planting, to general hard and soft landscaping. Precise groundwork and dependable finishing sit at the centre of the role.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver commercial landscape construction work across a wide range of tasks
Prepare sites and carry out excavation and groundworks
Accurately set out, level and prepare bases
Install irrigation and drainage systems
Form paving, edging and minor concrete features
Erect retaining walls along with other structural landscape elements
Establish softscapes by laying turf and installing plants, mulch and similar features
Operate plant, machinery and landscaping equipment with safety in mind
Apply consistent quality and detailed workmanship
Keep equipment, tools and work zones clean and organised
Comply with workplace health and safety procedures at every stage, and maintain professional standards on all commercial sites
Work productively to achieve project schedules and construction targets
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, working independently where needed while contributing to the wider team

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum 2 years' proven experience in landscape construction, with the ability to demonstrate genuine hands-on work
In-depth practical knowledge of commercial landscaping processes
Holding a relevant formal landscaping qualification is advantageous
A reliable, punctual and committed approach to employment, combined with a strong focus on workplace safety and quality workmanship
Current full driver's licence is essential
Own reliable transport is essential
Current White Card is essential
MR driver's licence is advantageous
Working with Children Card (OCHRE), or the willingness to obtain one
DCAC for Robertson Barracks is advantageous
Permanent Australian work rights are preferred
Temporary residents need not apply
Visa sponsorship available to eligible applicants
Physical capability for outdoor landscape construction work
Capacity to work effectively within a team or independently, and willingness to commit to a stable, long-term position
