HVAC / Air Conditioning Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

Conduct HVAC installation, commissioning, servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance to a high-quality standard
Diagnose issues across commercial and light commercial air conditioning systems, applying industry knowledge to deliver effective solutions and minimise equipment downtime
Perform system inspections that keep HVAC equipment running efficiently
Produce accurate maintenance records, reports and service documentation
Provide customers with clear technical advice through professional communication
Maintain work vehicles, tools and equipment to company expectations
Comply with workplace safety procedures and industry standards
Partner with technical teams on quality, timely service delivery, demonstrating reliability, attention to detail and pride in trade workmanship

Requirements & Eligibility

Proven HVAC / Air Conditioning Technician with an established service background
Recognised qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or HVAC
Minimum 5 years of field experience in HVAC maintenance and servicing
Ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems
Strong knowledge of technical procedures and refrigeration systems
Relevant electrical knowledge or licensing will be highly regarded
Commercial-scale HVAC equipment experience is advantageous
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer relationship skills
Capability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Valid driver's licence
Verified trade experience and qualifications appropriate for international employment
